Bridge Program
The Bridge Program serves students who need an emphasis on communication, functional math, literacy, life skills, social communication and community based learning. This program includes most of our students with a diagnosis of Autism, and who use Alternative or Augmentative Communication. The program focuses on building functional academic, social, and communication skills as well as developing individual levels of independence in self-care and vocational options. In addition, NSM has a variety of alternative curriculum, including utilizing Vermont Adaptive for physical adaptive activities, transitional programming, vocational programming, and related services for all students such as OT, PT, and speech and language services.
